Before, and after an interview, we can provide you with the interview training, interview coaching, interview tips and techniques that can set you above and beyond from the competition.Career Advice Irelands goal is to work very closely with you and provide you with interview training and advice to ensure you are presenting and communicating yourself in the best possible way. By applying this interview training or interview coaching, you will maximise your chances of securing a final round interview or a job offer.

Our Interview Training can be undertaken over one to two sessions.

Interview Training

  • Mock job interview with self analysis and honest objective feedback on your interview skills and interviewing techniques from your consultant. Would you be hired based on presentation, delivery and expertise.
  • Overview of the different types of interviews and how to handle each albeit competency based interviews or behavioural interviews, standard, panel etc.
  • Competency based interviews – how to recognise the competencies required for your role and how to handle competency based interview questions.
  • Interview Coaching on successfully answering job interview questions using the STAR interviewing technique ( Situation, Task, Action, Result )
  • Help you realise and communicate your unique selling points at interview and building these into your interviewing technique.
  • Research required for a job interview – your interviewer, interview format, company culture, business background etc
  • Non verbal communication, projecting the right image and rapport building with your interviewer.
  • Career advice on how to handle difficult interview questions or job interview questions where your experience maybe lacking.
  • What are the common interview questions and how to distinguish yourself when answering them.
  • How to negotiate and handle questions relating to salary.
  • What to do after a job interview to increase your chances of securing the role.
  • Service offered throughout Ireland including Dublin, Wicklow, Louth, Meath, Wexford and more
